Photo by MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL URBAN YOUTH ACADEMY BREAKTHROUGH SERIES—Baseball Hall of Famer Rod Carew worked with young athletes at the inaugural Breakthrough Series, which took place on July 22-24 at the Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy in Compton. The event showcased rising high school junior and senior baseball players from urban areas throughout the United States.
