Beverly White to MC Metro to Crenshaw Summit

Metro and the LA Sentinel are honored to announce that Beverly White, distinguished News Reporter from KNBC 4, will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies for the Metro to Crenshaw/LAX Business Opportunities Summit. White is an accomplished journalist with close to 30 years of experience reporting on local and national stories that have impacted the world. She has received extensive honors, including the Journalist Award from the Society of Professional Journalists, THE 50 Fabulous Women of 2013 from THE Magazine, and the Leadership Award from the California Legislative Black Caucus.
Metro is honored that Beverly White will set the tone of the day at the Business Opportunities Summit. Business leaders, elected officials, local businesses, and community leaders will be greeted by the Best in the Business.
The Metro to Crenshaw / LAX Business Opportunities Summit will occur on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 9:00 am at the California African American Museum, 600 State Street in Exposition Park. The Business Opportunities Summit will highlight the broad range of business and economic opportunities available at Metro, including but not limited to the work that is about to begin on the Crenshaw / LAX Transit Corridor. In addition, Metro will highlight professional career opportunities, including project management, engineering, and the Bus Operators Academy.
