The Los Angeles Rams received their Super Bowl LVI championship ring, and it is quite fabulous!

To recap, before an estimated crowd of 70,000 fans, the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium, 23-20.

The game had all the trappings of an L.A. event – the presence of movie and television stars in abundance and a halftime show with the sensational talents of Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar.

And the game ended beautifully with a fourth-down stop by the Rams to win it all.

This championship ring embodied a super team who played with passion, purpose, and pride and won a championship in their house. The Rams organization describes the ring as “inspired by L.A. for L.A.”

Head Coach Sean McVay gave the go-ahead for the players to open their boxes, and the players reacted…jaws dropped, and other choice words to express the joy of seeing their glittering one-of-a-kind championship ring.

On social media, defensive tackle Aaron Donald wore his ring on his forefinger writing…RING ME!! RING ME!! RING ME!!; cornerback Jalen Ramsey showcased the gigantic ring on his pinkie, and linebacker Von Miller, now a member of the Buffalo Bills, wore both his Super Bowl rings (he won in 2016 with the Denver Broncos) with the caption, One Time for the Two Time!

The ring was a collaboration with Rams players, team leadership, and the legendary Los Angeles-based jewelry house, Jason of Beverly Hills. Here are all the details.

The ring is filled with meaningful symbolism and pays homage to the city of Los Angeles, the team, and the Rams house (SoFi Stadium).

Each ring has approximately 20 carats of white diamonds set on white and yellow gold.

The 20 carats celebrate the official opening of SoFi Stadium in 2020.

Jason of Beverly Hills proudly boasts that this ring has the most carat weight in the history of championship rings.

On the face of the ring is the Vince Lombardi Trophy, comprised of one marquise stone and a trophy base of .12 carats of round diamonds to represent the 12 regular season wins. The two palm trees have .26 carats of diamonds, representing the franchise’s 26 total postseason wins. The center Rams LA logo features blue and yellow sapphires denoting the team’s colors.

The ring has 1.12 carats of round diamonds at the top, representing January 12.

It honors three important dates in Rams history:  January 12, 2016, the date the Rams were approved to return to Los Angeles; January 12, 2017, the hire date of head coach Sean McVay; and January 12, 2019, the Rams first playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys, 30-22, their first after returning to Los Angeles.

The ring, in jaw-dropping detail, amazingly twists off to reveal a mini SoFi stadium, including physical elements from the game - pieces of the game ball and turf that the game was played on.

The final scores of all the season’s playoff games are featured on the underside of the ring. “I didn’t just want it to be historical in design but have physical elements from the event. It all adds value and authenticity, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia,” said Jason Arasheben, C.E.O., Jason of Beverly Hills.

On the sides of the rings, the player’s name is displayed on a plate that mimics the shape of the stadium’s Infinity screen with their numbers adorned in diamonds.

The two stars surrounding the player’s number symbolize the franchise’s two Super Bowl Championships and pay homage to Los Angeles, the city of stars.

The four stones on the Infinity screen represent the teams the Rams had to beat in the playoffs – the Arizona Cardinals, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Underneath the player’s number is the inscription, “WE NOT ME.”

On the other side of the ring is the final score of Super Bowl LVI, 23-20, the logos of the N.F.L. and Super Bowl LVI. “World Champions” is featured on the plate, mimicking the Infinity screen.

Finally, there are .23 carats of diamonds in the columns supporting the ring, just like the iconic designs of the columns that support SoFi Stadium’s roof.

The .23 carats represent the 23 points scored in the Super Bowl.

The Rams open the preseason against the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, August 13, and will meet their Super Bowl foe, the Cincinnati Bengals, on Saturday, August 27.
