The sheriff’s department today sought the public's help in locating an 81-year-old man with dementia who went missing almost a week ago in Compton.

 

Robert Miller was last seen about 2 p.m. Tuesday at Burrell-MacDonald Park, at Alondra Boulevard and Wadsworth Avenue, when he asked someone for directions to a bus stop, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

 

Miller is described as Black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds and is bald with brown eyes. He was wearing a beige hat, blue shirt and blue jeans when last seen.

 

Miller’s possible destinations include San Bernardino and El Centro.

 

Anyone with information regarding Miller’s whereabouts was urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department’s Homicide Bureau, Missing Persons Unit, at (323) 890-5500 to speak with Detective Abraham or Sgt. Nava.
