Hip-hop entertainment mogul Russell Simmons claimed in court papers on April 4, that a woman who is suing him for rape sent him nude photos and tried to see him again after the alleged assault.

Jennifer Jarosik, 37, filed a $5 million suit against Simmons in January, alleging that she was "sexually exploited, sexually battered, and raped" by the entrepreneur after she went to his Doheny Drive home in August 2016 to discuss a forthcoming documentary film project.

Simmons has denied the allegations, calling their relationship entirely consensual. In his rebuttal, filed in Los Angeles federal court, Simmons submitted friendly texts he says were sent by Jarosik after the alleged assault.

The text messages included, "Sending love" and "I miss u Russell. r u ok?" On Nov. 5, 2016, three months after the alleged rape, Jarosik sent Simmons a text that said "Coming to l a. I want to see u ok," according to the filing.

"Additionally, Ms. Jarosik sent Mr. Simmons unsolicited nude photos after the alleged 2016 incident," the filing states.

Simmons "ignored each of these texts," according to the document.

Jarosik's lawsuit alleges Simmons "pounced" upon her when she declined his sexual advances "and proceeded to rape her."

The 60-year-old co-founder of hip-hop music label Def Jam Recordings previously called Jarosik's allegations "horrific ... (they) have shocked me to my core," and said "all of my relations have been consensual."

During the past few months, at least a half-dozen other women have accused Simmons of sexual misconduct. Last month, a woman identified only as Jane Doe accused Simmons of raping her after the two went to a nightclub from a concert where they had met. The suit, which seeks $10 million, gives little detail about where or when the alleged incident took place.
