On Monday, May 29, the city of Inglewood invites the public to attend the 69th Annual Memorial Day Service.  The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. at Inglewood City Hall, located at 1 West Manchester Boulevard, on the South Mall courtyard in front of the Memorial Obelisk Monument.

 

Inglewood’s Memorial Day event pays tribute to all the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. Inglewood’s event recognizes war heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, as well as honor the brave men and women who have and are currently serving our country.

 

This year’s ceremonies will include the playing of Taps, Presen­tation of Colors, remarks by special military guests and a memorial wreath laying service. Local and com­munity based organizations will also take part in the ceremonies.  The City of Inglewood’s Memorial Day Service is free and open to the public.
