Pasadena police this week urged witnesses to contact them if they have information that could solve a double homicide in January.

The crime occurred about 11:50 p.m. on Jan. 6, when officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 100 block of West Claremont Street, the Pasadena Police Department reported.

Officers learned that two men had been shot. Antione Sutphen of Pasadena, 24, died at the scene, and Ormoni Duncan, also 24 and from Pasadena, died at a hospital. The suspects drove off.

“Although the motive remains unconfirmed, all information and investigative leads suggests a feud between a local Pasadena gang and a gang from the Duarte area which erupted a few months prior to the murders,” police said.

Four black men in their 20s were being sought. They ranged in height from 5-feet-9 inches to 6-feet-2 inches tall, and weighed between 180 and 250 pounds.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call police at (626) 744-4241, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
