AltaMed, a health care organization that has delivered care to the underserved communities of Southern California for more than 40 years, held its second annual Senior Mothers Day Celebration at hale Lewis Morris Manor in South Los Angeles on Thursday May 8.

 

More than 75 seniors were feted with a three-course meal and dessert and presented certificates celebrating them as both seniors and mothers.

 

Additionally, AltaMed provided the women with gift bags and important information on the variety of services offered at their multiple facilities, which includes comprehensive Adult Healthcare.

 

Designated by the Joint Commis­sion as a Primary Care Medical Home (PCMH), AltaMed prides itself in the quality of its care delivered by its premier health care professionals. Many of their professional staff was on hand to answer questions and facilitate needs of the seniors.
